A luxuriously thick wool rug handwoven in hand-spun yarn. The hand dyed accent colours were spun into the yarn at regular intervals and woven in a technique that creates small ridges on the tightly woven natural black background. This way you can feel as well as see the colours. Due to the slight variations in the yarn created by hand-spinning, every rug in this design is unique.

This colour way of the Ridge rug reminds me of a ray of sunshine finding it’s way through dark clouds heavy with rain, hence I named it “Sunshine on a Rainy Day”.

As well as looking and feeling wonderful underfoot, this makes a fabulous statement hanging on your wall. For this purpose the hems have been left open at the sides, so it’s easy to insert a hanging rod.
