A luxuriously thick wool rug handwoven in hand-spun yarn. The hand dyed accent colours were spun into the yarn at regular intervals and woven in a technique that creates small ridges on the tightly woven natural black background. This way you can feel as well as see the colours. Due to the slight variations in the yarn created by hand-spinning, every rug in this design is unique.

This particular colour way of the Ridge rug was dreamed up during the very coldest part of Swedish winter. With temperatures outside below -20C, I dug out an old salsa playlist to help keep me warm while working in the studio. In the rhythms and cheerily blaring trumpets I heard all these wonderful hot and vibrant colours and so, the "Some Like It Hot" colour way was born.

As well as looking and feeling wonderful underfoot, this piece would also make quite a statement hanging on your wall. For this purpose the hems have been left open at the sides, so it’s easy to insert a hanging rod.
